This is Madeline – the first computerized pfaff sewing machine. 

Her full model name is the Pfaff Creative 1471, and she was created in West Germany circa 1985. That’s a long way from where she lives now, which is in my sewing studio in a wee town in the mountains of West Virginia. Madeline is my work horse. She is the only machine I use for my bags, purses, pouches, wallets and whatever else I’m working on.
