Phase 9 – finish the backpacks and get beautiful friend to model them for you!
This finishing phase encompasses lots of different stages… attaching exterior to interior, top stitching, attaching straps to bag, and adding zipper pulls and finishing touches. I always think I’m done at this point, and usually try to be, but am finally learning the importance of photographing my work. Thanks to @jrbrubaker for the photography and @cara_danae for modeling. The backpack featured is a custom order for Cara. She picked out the colors and the accents and I’m super happy how it turned out. Stay tuned for photos of the other two backpacks I was working on. And I’m also looking for a name for this design. Any thoughts??
